Exercising Well | New Name, Same Mission

Same Mission

If you have been following Exercising Well, you know it has never been about checking the exercise box or satisfying the "should" of exercise. It has always been about restoring the mobility, strength, and stamina to do more of what you love, with the people you love — with greater calm and confidence.

I started this work about 15 years ago because I kept hearing the same story from new patients: they'd tried to exercise, and it made things worse, not better. They were living with pain, stress, medical issues, or low motivation, and found very few options that helped rather than hurt.

That story is still the reason this I continue to provide this program. And it's why I'm excited to share an update to a name that better reflects it.

New Name

Exercising Well has a new name, but the same mission. The new name is Be Well Now Method. The legal name behind the business, Exercising Well, LLC, hasn't changed — but the program's digital home has been refreshed to highlight the science-guided mission, not the 'should'.

You do not need to do anything different to get to the site.  Both www.ExercisingWell.com and www.BeWellNowMethod.com will get you there.

The Philosophy of "Now"

When exercise is framed around a distant future goal — with the stress-inducing mindset that you have to work hard now to earn health later — it actually slows healing, and it limits the habits that support your health.

The Be Well Now Method was designed to provide a science-guided approach that addresses what your whole person needs for health, healing and habits. I created this method to provide a safe starting point and a step-by-step, gradual pathway that I have found is missing in even beginner approaches to exercise.

Clients tell me that knowing how to move well before moving more made all the difference. They were living with chronic pain, ongoing symptoms, low motivation, or fear of making things worse. Now, everything they do for their health has become more life-giving and sustainable.

Come see the new site

The site walks through the method itself, how it provides an upgrade from a typical approaches to exercise that don't work when your body or motivation is limited. The first step is to take a few minutes to find your Core Why — it's free, and it's the same starting point I use with every person who starts the program.

Coming soon: the Be Well Now book

I'm also putting the finishing touches on a book that gives you a simple, step-by-step user-friendly way to put the science of the method into practice in daily life. More on that soon — including how to get an early look inside the chapters.

Gratitude for you!

Thank you for being part of this journey with me. I built this method because people living pain, medical issues, or struggles with motivation deserved better options than "push through it."  I continued because I have heard from so many of you that it provides a refreshing way of thinking about health, healing and habits.

I'm so glad you're here for this next chapter.

Warmly,

Janet
